Abrams ComicArts has announced a new line of monthly and bimonthly comics, Abrams Comics, that will launch with three series written by filmmaker Darren Aronofsky and legendary comics writer Frank Miller.
Human Nature is a satirical story about a wealthy chicken magnate seeking immortality, written by Aronofsky, Ari Handel, and Jeff Welch, with interior and cover art by Martin Morazzo, colors by Chris O'Halloran, and lettering by Aditya Bidikar. The monthly series will launch on November 20, 2024.
Pandora, scripted by Miller, Chris Silvestri, and Anthony Maranville with pencils, inks, and colors by Emma Kubert and letters by Pete Carlsson, will begin with issue #7, starting the second arc of Frank Miller's story of a teenager who suddenly has world-changing powers. The series will launch on December 18, 2024, and will be published every other month. Abrams will publish the first arc on October 8, 2024, as a hardcover graphic novel (see "Abrams ComicArts to Publish Frank Miller Graphic Novels").
Invasive Species, created and written by Miller with pencils and ink finishes by Ryan Benjamin, inks by John Livesay, colors by Alex Sinclair, and letters by Pete Carlsson, is a story about a girl whose brain had been invaded by aliens. The series will launch on January 8, 2025, on an every-other-month schedule.
