Since the announcement of the Avengers: Doomsday movie (see "Robert Downey Jr. is Doom"), Doctor Doom has risen through the ranks to become Marvel's most infamous villain going into the next few years. To prepare fans for his cinematic return, Marvel will release the 2019 Doctor Doom comic series, written by Christopher Cantwell with art by Salvador Larroca and Cian Tormey, in TPB form. This collection tells the tale of where Victor Von Doom is blamed for a global catastrophe which forces him to flee his homeland and abandon his army. Doom will be forced to seek out Kang the Conqueror to clear his name, and ends up battling Taskmaster, M.O.D.O.K., the Blue Marvel, and heading through hell to encounter Mephisto.
This 272-page TPB collects Doctor Doom (2019) #1-10; King in Black: Iron Man/Doctor Doom and material from War of the Realms: War Scrolls #3. It features a cover by Salvador Larroca and will retail for $34.99.
