The story of Gen Con 2024, as told through ICv2's staff photos, kicked off on Thursday August 1, 2023 just outside the convention hall.

This year's Gen Con broke attendance records, completely selling out and drawing over 71,000 unique attendees (see "Gen Con 2024 Breaks 2023 Attendance Record").  Gen Con 2024 featured a vast sea of gamers flowing between two buildings, rushing to check out what was new and exciting in the industry.
