Each year, ICv2 offers up some ideas for inexpensive gifts for retailers to stock (see "$20 and Under Stocking Stuffers"). The gift suggestions offered were aimed at being under $20 in the past. However, over the last several years, inflation has kept on trucking along at a minimum of a 3% clip every year since 2021. And although inflation is leveling off according to the most recent CPI readings, it has clearly impacted the types of gaming products the consumer can purchase as holiday stocking stuffers.
For holiday season 2024, $29.99 seems to be the new price point for gaming-related stocking stuffers. This price point seems to open up an array of options that retailers can carry in their seasonal stock for customers without sacrificing too much in the way of product quality. Per usual, ICv2 has some suggestions for these types of items, and the gallery below contains a list of games and other items that have price points at $29.99 or under.
