Marvel Comics will end 2024 with a high-octane one-shot that will offer a look at the what’s coming up in 2025. In Timeslide #1, by writer Steve Foxe and artist Ivan Fiorelli, an X-Man appears from the future bringing frightening news: A time-traveling predator plans to stop the X-Gene from evolving, eliminating mutantkind from all of time. Cable and Bishop team up to intervene, and their adventures also hint at what Marvel has planned for next year. Timeslide #1 will be released on December 25, 2024, with a cover by Kael Ngu.
Foxe is an editor for James Tynion IV’s Tiny Onion studio and collaborated with him on Razorblades (see “Tiny Onion Is Getting Bigger”).
