Graphix will publish Saphie The One-Eyed Cat, by Joho (Joanna Ho), a gently funny slice-of-life cartoon about a mischievous cat and her feline (and human) siblings. Originally created as a webtoon, Saphie accumulated over 650,000 followers and 150 million views on the Webtoon platform during its five-year run from 2016 to 2021. The graphic novel, which has a similar vibe to Pusheen, Breaking Cat News, and Chi’s Sweet Home, is rated for ages 7-10 and will be released on February 4, 2025, as a hardcover with an MSRP of $24.99 and a paperback with an MSRP of $12.99.
Graphix is also planning to launch two new manga series in February 2025 (see “AnimeNYC Manga News”).
