DC Comics will collect over 1,000 pages of Batman stories written by James Tynion IV, with others, in a new omnibus edition shipping next March. Art for the stories, which introduced new characters Punchline, Ghost-Maker, and Clownhunter, is by Jorge Jiménez, Guillem March, and others; cover is by Jiménez.
Tynion began writing the core Batman series with #86 in January 2020 (see "Tynion to Follow King on ‘Batman’"), and wrapped up his run with #117 in November 2021, as he began releasing new comic material on Substack (see "Tynion IV Leaves Batman for Substack").
Batman by James Tynion IV Omnibus Vol. 1 will include Batman #86-105, Batman Annual #5, Batman 2021 Annual #1, Batman: The Joker War Zone #1, Batman: Secret Files #3, Batman: Pennyworth R.I.P. #1, Punchline #1, The Joker #1-4, and stories from Batman #85, Batman #107-111, Infinite Frontier #0, The Joker: 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1, and The Joker #14.
The 1,040 page hardcover will street on March 4, 2025, at $125 MSRP.
