Bandai followed up their tease of the Gundam TCG (see "'Gundam TCG'") by launching a boxed set that includes everything fans need to play out their first battles in the new card game. The anime series featured on cards in this first set are Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. The Edition Beta box includes 16 booster packs (9 cards per pack), a 56-card fixed set, a Legend Rare card, 2 playsheets and 6 Dice Damage counters that can be used to build a deck for the game.
These Edition Beta boxes will be available at Bandai Card Games Fests, through participating Bandai TCG+ stores, and on Premium Bandai USA. Bandai TCG+ stores will be eligible to run Edition Beta Trial events, starting in February 2025, where players will be able to purchase Edition Beta and get a promo item with their purchase. These boxes will retail for $69.99 each.
