Lucky Duck Games revealed Unconscious Mind, a new board game, which will hit U.S. retail on February 14, 2025.
In this game, designed by Laskas, Jonny Pac, Yoma, and Antonio Zax, players join the Wednesday Psychological Society, a group of early supporters of Sigmund Freud's work from the 1900's. They will be tasked with formulating new therapeutic techniques, establishing their practice, and growing their clientele in an attempt to become Freud’s most distinguished colleague. This game operates on a unique worker placement mechanic where the workers are Ideas that are discussed at a Meeting Table.
The Meeting Table gives players the ability to perform various actions like putting tiles on their personal boards, playing cards, and going from place to place in Vienna. Players gain points and special abilities from treating clients, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins. This game is for one to four players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 60-120 minutes.
Lucky Duck Games will also release Potions of Azerland, a new dice game, into retail (see "'Potions of Azerland'").
