Rio Grande Games will release Moon Colony Bloodbath, a new tabletop game from Dominion designer Donald X Vaccarino, in January.  The players are attempting to build colonies on the moon, a dangerous task; the game is won by the player with the most survivors in their moon colony.

In this engine-building engine-losing tableau game, players build a shared deck that drives positive and negative events.  Those events kill people in your moon colony or help you build up.  The game is over when one player’s moon colony has no survivors, or the players reach the bottom of the Event deck.

The Moon Colony Bloodbath game box includes cards, playmats, and chits.  Art is by Franz Vohwinkel.  MSRP is $49.95.
