Capstone Games has placed Atlantis Exodus, a new rondel board game, onto preorder with an expected debut at PAX Unplugged in December 2024.
In Atlantis Exodus, designed by Konstantinos Karagiannis and George Halkias, players assume the roles of kings fleeing the island nation of Atlantis. They are charged with helping as many citizens as they can off the island before it sinks into oblivion. The game functions on a rondel mechanic that generates bonuses for the kings to utilize in facing constantly-changing conditions of game. Kings will need to train their people in different professions to create beacons of civilization as they send them away to colonize safer lands.
This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90 minutes. It will retail for $59.95.
Capstone is also partnering with Czech publisher Albi to bring Tea Garden to North America (see "'Tea Garden' to N.A.").
