Cryptozoic Entertainment announced that they will release a new edition the DC Heroes Role-Playing game via a crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter.
DC Heroes RPG, originally published by Mayfair Games back in 1985, was an RPG players could take on the roles of their favorite DC superhero (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc). It ran on the classic Mayfair Exponential Game System (MEGS), which featured a logarithmic scaling of character attributes as its main mechanic. Three editions of this game were published, the last being released in 1993. The new edition will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original release of this game with an archival-quality release.
Cryptozoic Entertainment will also release Conan the Barbarian Trading Cards in Q4 2024 (see "'Conan' Trading Cards").
