The new boxed features two new kill teams: The Wrecka Krew and Ratlings. The ork team is composed of a Boss Nob, five Orks, and two Bomb Squig, all of which have an affinity for explosions and protecting themselves from them with scrap armor. They are looking to exterminate the Ratlings, who are running interference in an attempt to protect the Hive Fissilicus and the Undermuzzle Barrens. The Ratling squad consists of 10 Ratling operatives and a battlemutt lead by a Ratling Fixer.

Brutal and Cunning also comes with a Killzone Upgrade: Compound Siege terrain set that has 2 bunkers, 6 fire steps and 6 stockades for use with Killzone: Volkus. Additionally, the set has a 72-page softcover Brutal and Cunning dossier that contains the mission and kill team stats, all the datacards and tokens for both kill teams, and an Ork transfer sheet with 438 transfers.

Games Workshop also unveiled Death Korps of Krieg boxed set, for Warhammer 40,000 (see "'Warhammer 40,000' Boxed Set").
