Hasbro and its Wizards of the Coast division have reached an agreement to license Dungeons & Dragons to Internet gambling company Games Global for the creation of gambling games featuring the brand, the companies announced. The first release under the license will be Dungeons & Dragons Tales of Riches, from Neon Valley Studios in Q1 2025. Additional games are also planned as part of the collaboration. “Games Global will harness The World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game to create an immersive, high-engagement slot experience, giving operators a chance to tap into the global fanbase<” the company said in the announcement.
D&D licensing has been going far and wide recently, from Internet gambling to Vegan footware (see “Vegan D&D Footwear and Accessories”).
Geek brands have been used for gambling machines in the past, including by Marvel and Star Wars (which were ended in 2013, and The Lord of the Rings (see “Marvel, ‘Star Wars’ Slots to End”).
