Modiphius Entertainment has revealed two new sets of miniatures for Fallout: Miniatures that will release next month: Super Mutant – Floaters and Radtoads. Both sets are part of The Wilds of Appalachia wave.
Floaters are the result of Forced Evolutionary Virus experiments who use sacs of lighter-than-air gas to float about seeking prey. Some even develop the ability to project elemental energies in the form of acid, flame, or cryogenic bile, in addition to using their fangs.
The Fallout: Miniatures – Super Mutant - Floaters kit comes with a trio of Floater miniatures and three 30mm plastic bases. MSRP is $37.43.
The radtoads make their home in the marches of Appalachia avoided by other creatures. They are equipped with a long barbed tongue to capture prey and lay explosive eggs.
The Fallout: Miniatures – Creatures – Radtoads kit includes a pair of Radtoad miniatures with plastic bases. MSRP is $43.66.
All miniatures are molded in resin and come unpainted and require assembly.
Last month, Modiphius released an adventure sourcebook for the Fallout RPG (see "Modiphius Will Release ‘Fallout RPG’ Quest Book"). Earlier in the year, the company acquired Polish miniatures company Strato Minis Studio (see "Modiphius Entertainment Acquires Strato Minis Studio").
