Looney Labs will release Word Fluxx, the latest version of the game of ever-changing rules, in March, the company announced. In this version, Keeper cards are the letters of the alphabet, and Goal cards are the types of words you can make, which can range from nouns to palindromes. It’s similar to Math Fluxx (see "’Math Fluxx’") in that players manipulate their Keepers to create combinations. To provide plenty of letters to work with, the cards include 51 Keepers, which is nearly double the usual amount.
Everyday words are the typical winners, making Word Fluxx a good game for the whole family.
Word Fluxx is for 1-6 players ages 8 and up, and plays in 10-30 minutes. MSRP is $20, and release date is March 25.
