This new RPG features cute antropomorphic critters that take tea and cake by the meandering portion of the river. The game is written and designed by Kij Johnson, who a Hugo and a Nebula Award for the The Man Who Bridged the Mist novella in 2012 and a Nebula Award for the Ponies short story in 2011. In the world of RiverBank, players will take their animal characters on quests as they play out chramning stories of friendship. The game also features a brand-new game system that utilizes D4, D6, and D12 dice to resolve action.

Kobold Press will also release The Old Margreve, an adventure setting guide, into retail in April 2025 (see "'The Old Margreve'").
