Danger Hugs is an easy-to-learn kids game where players try to match cuddly animals and "hug" them by slapping down the cards after they are revealed. The last player to slap matches adds all the cards on the table to their deck, or if they slap a dangerous animal, they get all the cards automatically. If both dangerous and cuddly animals match on the table, players race to pick up a foam heart. The person that gets the heart can give half their cards to another person. The goal is to be the first player to get rid of their cards.
This game is for three to eight players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 10 minutes. It will retail for $15.00.
Danger Hugs was designed April Mitchell and Serena Fadlun. April Mitchell won a People of Play award at the TAGIEs in 2024 (see "Game Awards from the Toy Side").
