The director of the 2022 TV special Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation Werewolf By Night (see “’Werewolf By Night’ Trailer”) has written a new Marvel comic with art by David Messina, the company announced.  The lead story in Marvel’s one-shot comic, Werewolf By Night: Blood Moon Rise, is written by Michael Giacchino, the Academy Award-winning composer who directed the TV special, with art by Messina.

The one-shot will also include a back-up story by Jason Loo, who wrote the red band Werewolf By Night ongoing series (see “Marvel Announces Red Band Ongoing”), on the character’s past and future, along with bonus material.
