Gargoyles: Demona, the new series focused on the Gargoyles archnemesis, will get a good send-off from the 73,000 free copies of Gargoyles: Demona #0 distributed at Free Comic Book Day (see "FCBD Silver Sponsors"), Dynamite Entertainment revealed.  Gargoyles: Demona #1, due for release May 28, is written by show creator Greg Weisman, with art by original show veteran Frank Paur.

The story will fill in some of the character's 1,000 years of backstory, going back to shortly after the year 994, when Demona's quest for vengeance against Canmore began.

Covers of #1 are by Meghan Hetrick, Paur, Mark Spears, and Jae Lee.
