Hachette Boardgames USA will release a new edition of Gigamic family card game Yogi. The new edition of the 2017 game will feature updated art and new packaging.
In the game, designed by Behrooz 'Bez' Shahriari, players draw a card and follow the instructions on it (e.g., keep your hand above your elbow, press the card against your nose, stand on one foot), which are cumulative through the course of the games. Players are eliminated if they fail to perform even one instruction, with another added every turn. One Yogi wins the game.
Box contents include 60 cards, 2 cardholders, and rules. The game is for 3-10 players ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. Release date is July 2.
Hachette recently announced last week that it was raising prices on most of its catalog (see "Hachette Raising Prices").
