DC Comics will publish Crisis on Infinite Earths: Absolute Edition, a new Absolute treatment of the watershed event by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez.  The art has been remastered from inker Jerry Ordway’s original artwork, as well as art provided by fans, and it has been recolored against the original comics.  The new edition will include Crisis on Infinite Earths #1-12, History of the DC Universe #1-2, and essays by creators from that era, as well as other bonus material.  The 600-page, 8” x 12” hardcover will go on sale on February 3, 2026, with an MSRP of $125.

In addition, DC will publish a comprehensive collection, including crossover issues, as part of its DC Finest line (see “ComicsPRO: DC Announces ‘DC Finest’ Collections”).  The first volume, DC Finest: Events: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One will include stories from Swamp Thing #39; Batman #389-391; Detective Comics #555-558; Justice League of America #244; Green Lantern #194; Wonder Woman #327; DC Comics Presents #78; Infinity, Inc. #18-19; The Fury of Firestorm #41; All-Star Squadron #50-52, Crisis on Infinite Earths #1-4, and The Losers Special #1.  The 560-page paperback will go on sale on October 21, 2025, with an MSRP of $39.99.

DC published a two-volume Absolute Edition of Crisis on Infinite Earths in 2005, but it is long out of print; more recently, in 2019, it published a paperback 35th anniversary edition and a 14-volume box set including crossover issues from other series (see “‘Crisis on Infinite Earths Box Set’”).
