Arcane Wonders will release Aquatica Duellum, a new dual version of Aquatica in July. The dual format is deeper, meaner, and more intense than the base game. Players choose a Turtle King or Squid King and try to unite the underwater world by playing action cards and assemblilng locations on three-layered boards. The game ends not only when all players achieve their goals, but also based on the fastest to collect the crowns. The tug of war mechanic adds tension.
Arcane Wonders has been expanding the Aquatica family of products; it released Aquatica: Coral Reefs, an expansion, last fall (see "’Aquatica: Coral Reefs’").
