Adam Ellis, whose Bad Dreams in the Night was a best-seller (see “April 2024 Circana BookScan”) is back with a second collection of short horror comics for an adult audience.  Let Me in Your Window will be published by Andrews McMeel on September 9, 2025, as a 304-page hardcover with an MSRP of $29.99.

Inspired by kids’ stories such as Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but written for adults, Bad Dreams in the Night includes stories about receiving text messages from a long-dead friend, taking a trip on a phantom subway car, and a terrifying nighttime incident in a youth hostel, among others.  In addition to debuting in the BookScan Top 20 (unusual for a book that is neither a manga nor tied to some other franchise), Bad Dreams in the Night was in the Author Top 20 in August and November 2024.
