Wizards of the Coast has delayed Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy prereleases in mainland China, the company announced.
The prerelease events in China were scheduled for the weekend of June 6, 2025, but now they have been pushed back to June 13-19, 2025. These events were pushed back due to the products not arriving in time. It is unclear whether or not this delay has anything to do with the trade war between the U.S. and China (see "Erratic Tariff Policy"), as both countries' customs policies have been in flux since early April 2025. The new dates set for mainland China's prerelease events not coincide with the set release dates.
