Modiphius Entertainment announced Fallout: Wasteland Warfare 2E, a new edition of the miniatures game based on the hit Fallout video games series, which will hit retail in Q2 2026.

Fallout: Wastleland Warfare was first published back in 2018 (see "Modiphius Preps 'Fallout: Wasteland Warfare'"). Eight years later, Modiphius will update the game with new miniatures and refined rules based on community feedback. The new version will also gravitate more toward solo and cooperative play modes, where players create a hero and lead warband against the horrors of the wastelands, but will still support rules for a battle modes where players can duke it out in a PVP fight.

“We’re doubling down on all the best bits of the Wasteland Warfare experience, inspired by elements of the Into the Wasteland, Homestead, and solo rules from the first edition, to give players a more refined and streamlined version of the solo campaign that’s so popular," said Modiphius’ Head of Brand, Samantha Webb.

The new plastic miniatures sets for the new edition will still be 32 mm scale, the same size as the previous edition. This game will be initially launched with boxed sets, and the new rules will support the following factions upon release: Survivors, Raiders, Creatures, Brotherhood of Steel, Super Mutants, NCR, Caesar’s Legion, Enclave, Minutemen, Railroad, Institute, Children of Atom, and Cult of the Mothman.
