Tabletop Tycoon announced that they will be going through a rebranding process to mark the next chapter in the company's development.
As part of this process, Tabletop Tycoon will become Tycoon Games. The company's name change is aimed at better representing their growing portfolio of games and commitment to creating memorable gaming experiences. Additionally, the name change adds the word "games" to the company name and new logo, which should help customers more easily categorize the company as part of the games industry.
"The name Tycoon Games embodies our ambition to lead the games industry with bold creativity, quality craftsmanship, and a dedication to making the world better, one game at a time," said Dan Yarrington, CEO of Tycoon Games.
The name change comes after some significant company expansion. Tycoon Games recently picked up some of CMON's titles (see "Five Board Games from CMON") and the company has moved its operations to 47,000 square foot facility in Londonderry, New Hampshire. They have also opened a local arcade, featuring 100 pinball and arcade games (the company deals in pinball machines under their Pinball Games subsidiary).
