Murder Drones is an Australian webseries written and directed by Liam Vickers and produced by Glitch Productions. The eight-episode series, which ran from 2022-24, has over 300 million views worldwide and was released on Amazon Prime in May 2025. The story is set in the year 3079, when humanity has gone extinct but its worker robots, known as drones, soldier on, and features a moody teenage worker drone who forms an unlikely partnership with two disassembly drones who are sent to exterminate her and her fellow workers.

Graphic Novel Will Launch on Kickstarter, then Be Serialized for Direct Market

Oni Press has inked a deal with Glitch Productions to produce comics and graphic novels based on the animated webseries Murder Drones. The collaboration will begin with a graphic novel adaptation of the first (and, so far, only) season that will be crowdfunded on Kickstarter as part of the Oni Premium Direct program (see “Premium Direct Program”) and then serialized for release in comic shops. The Kickstarter will launch on September 8, 2025, and the first issue of the comic will be released in February 2026.
