Dire Wolf Digital will release Lightning Train, a new bag-building train game, into retail in Q3 2025.
Lightning Train was designed by Paul Dennen, creator of both Clank and Dune: Imperium (see "Dune Games"). In this train game, players take charge of a railway company looking to make a fortune building up routes and delivering goods fast. Players will improve their company resources by building up a bag of chips and placing them at open stations across North America. They can purchase new chips to open up new options for their companies, but the cost must be balanced against how much value they can get out of deliveries. The goal of the game is for players to build up their Lightning Trains and accelerate to victory.
This game is for one to four players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 60 to 120 minutes. It will retail for $55.
