Bandai Entertainment, Inc. has joined forces with several companies in Japan, including Studio BONES, to create the multi-platform property Eureka Seven.  The core Eureka Seven TV series (animated by BONES, the studio behind Cowboy Bebop the Movie, Scrapped Princess, and Full Metal Alchemist) debuts on April 17th in Japan.  To complement the anime series, the Bandai Group in Japan is preparing a range of products including action figures and video games, as well as a plethora of licensed goods including apparel items, playing cards, snacks and plastic models.

The high-powered team behind the Eureka Seven anime series includes Rahxephon director Tomoki Kyoda, veteran mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori (Macross, Macross Plus), and character designer Kenichi Yoshida (Cowboy Bebop the Movie). The plot of Eureka Seven revolves around a young mechanic who meets a strange and beautiful girl who climbs out of a giant mecha that mysteriously falls from the sky. Bandai Entertainment, Inc. will distribute the Eureka Seven anime series in North America.
