Central Park Media has announced the acquisition of Otaku Unite, a feature length documentary on the history of American anime fandom by first-time film-maker Eric Bresler. The film has been screened at Anime Expo, San Diego Comic-Con, and Otakon. CPM will release the film on DVD, with extra features and bonus footage, on a date to be announced at San Diego Comic-Con this month.
