Sweet Cookies Transform into Strategic Contenders
CookieRun first captivated countless fans with the story of brave cookies escaping from the oven.  Now, this familiar universe has expanded onto a new stage as a full-fledged strategic card game.

We have always believed in the unlimited potential of the CookieRun IP.  Our goal has been to go beyond a simple mobile game and create something that delivers joy to people.

Rather than simply featuring popular CookieRun characters on cards, we rethought the essence of the game itself.  How could we perfectly reinterpret CookieRun's unique universe and characters as a strategic card game?  This was our first question.

Perfect Harmony Between CookieRun Universe and Strategy
The greatest strength of CookieRun: Braverse TCG is that it possesses both the familiarity of CookieRun characters and the depth of a strategic game.  The cute characters reflect their traits and abilities directly on the cards, naturally integrating the existing CookieRun universe into TCG cards and delivering an immersive battle experience.

When creating CookieRun: Braverse TCG, our priority was simple: "The game must actually be fun."

Implementing the CookieRun universe and charming character traits into CookieRun: Braverse TCG's unique play experience was incredibly challenging.  We continuously explored how to seamlessly integrate CookieRun's appealing characters and world into TCG mechanics.

The five-color attribute system (red, yellow, blue, green, purple), cost management mechanism utilizing the support area, and the fast-paced turn structure were all meticulously designed for this purpose.  By giving each color distinct strategic characteristics and play styles, players can bulid their own unique decks and craft winning strategies.

Through this relentless process, we created a trading card game that preserves the uniqueness of CookieRun characters while offering strategic depth through color-based gameplay.

Global Establishment and World Championship: Proving the Strength of CookieRun: Braverse TCG
CookieRun: Braverse TCG has achieved outstanding results in Asian markets, including Korea, proving both IP power and gameplay quality simultaneously.  Starting with its Korean launch in September 2023, it has successfully established itself in eight regions including Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.

Especially in Southeast Asian markets, the CookieRun IP was already firmly established, allowing the TCG to naturally spread on this familiar brand foundation.  What's particularly noteworthy is that CookieRun: Braverse TCG's unique casual accessibility has attracted players from diverse age groups and backgrounds.

From children to women player players, from card game beginners to veteran TCG players, everyone has enthusiastically embraced CookieRun: Braverse TCG, forming a wide player base in a short period.

Based on this overwhelming popularity, CookieRun: Braverse TCG will host its first World Championship with participants from eight Asian regions, the United States, and Canada.  This tournament will be an important milestone in establishing its position as a global TCG brand with strategic depth and competitiveness beyond a casual game.

The World Championship is evidence that CookieRun: Braverse TCG has already built a significant community in the North American market and signals its full-scale entry into global TCG competition.  Through this tournament, the worldwide CookieRun: Braverse TCG community will be unified, and the global expansion strategy is expected to accelerate further.

Strategy and Significance of U.S. Market Entry
Entering the U.S. market means more than just business expansion.  It's a challenge to prove that a TCG created from an IP that originated in Korea can gain recognition in the world's largest TCG market.

The core of the US market entry strategy is:

  • Emphasizing strategy and competitiveness to target TCG players
  • Connecting the CookieRun fandom to collectors and casual players
  • Building a regional community foundation through close partnerships with offline card shops

Through cross-platform connections with a global user base of over 72 million already secured through CookieRun: Kingdom, the plan is to grow both fandoms and player communities both online and offline.

The U.S. market entry of CookieRun: Braverse TCG is a golden opportunity to elevate the global recognition of the CookieRun IP.  TCG will play a pivotal role beyond being just a card game—it will secure a new generation of IP fans for long-term brand value building and strengthen global brand influence by maximizing synergy with mobile games.

In the U.S. market, CookieRun: Braverse TCG plans to establish differentiated positioning by finding a balance between enhancing strategic gameplay elements and targeting casual player base formation, while maintaining CookieRun's unique universe and character appeal.

For retailers, CookieRun: Braverse TCG represents a new business opportunity.  By injecting fresh energy into the mature U.S. TCG market, it will contribute to market expansion by offering traditional TCG enthusiasts new strategic experiences and providing newcomers attracted by CookieRun's charming characters an easy introduction to trading card games.
