Ivan Van Norman has exited Darrington Press, according to a post on his LinkedIn page.

Van Norman has been the head of Darrington Press since the company was first launched by Critical Role in 2021 (see "Critical Role"). Under his tenure at Darrington, he helped bring an array of products to market over the last four years, including the Queen By Midnight board game series (see "'Queen by Midnight'") and Daggerheart RPG (see "'Daggerheart'"). Van Norman left Darrington after Critical Role recently hired D&D designers Jeremy Crawford and Chris Perkins onto the division (see " 'D&D' Designers Join Critical Role").

Van Norman's next move will be to focus on Hunters Entertainment, a company he started 15 years ago, where he will pursue new passion projects. This company has been responsible for designing games like Alice is Missing (see "'Alice is Missing'") and the popular Kids on Bikes RPG (see "'Kids on Bikes' ").
