As a side note to this first experiment, the Cold Steel P3 color is a reasonable alternative for the popular Citadel Leadbelcher color. It's a little bit of a lighter shade, but after a black Nuln Oil wash is applied (aka 'More Cowbell' for experienced painters) it creates about the same effect. In general, the new P3 metallic paints are fairly smooth and don't clump up much once applied.
