North Star Games was showing off a new stand-alone expansion of its Origins Award Nominated Happy Salmon game (see “Origins Award Nominees”) which introduces six new colors of cards. When combined with the original green Happy Salmon game (see “'Happy Salmon' Arrives May 1”), it allows expanded games to include up to 12 players. Release is planned for September 1. MSRP is $14.99.
Just ahead of the June release, Games Workshop was showing off painted miniatures for the Warhammer 40,000 boxed set Dark Imperium (see “New 'Warhammer 40,000' Emerges”).Catalyst Game Labs was showing off Dragonfire, the cooperative deck building game based on Dungeons & Dragons (see “'Dungeons & Dragons' Deck Building Game 'Dragonfire'”). The game will release in August and has an MSRP of $59.99.
