Dreamworks Animation’s animated Boss Baby narrowly edged out Disney’s massive hit Beauty & the Beast to grab the weekend box office crown with an estimated $49 million, while the Scarlett Johansson-starring live-action adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s manga Ghost in the Shell opened way below expectations.

Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast continued its box office domination with an $88.3 million dollar second frame, the fourth best second weekend in history.

James Mangold’s Logan , the final film in Fox’s X-Men spin-off Wolverine trilogy, debuted with $85.3 million opening, the best bow so far in 2017 and the fifth best opening ever for an R-rated film.
