Korean-born Japanese TV star Byun-hung Lee will portray the Cobra Commander's ninja bodyguard Storm Shadow in the new live action G.I. Joe film. Storm Shadow, who is Snake Eye's 'sword brother,' is one of the most ambivalent characters in the G.I. Joe saga, having switched sides several times (he defected from the Cobra organization, but returned to the ranks after he was captured by Cobra agents and brainwashed).
The video game company Capcom revealed Lee's casting on its Website -- Lee is the model for the Wayne Holden character in Capcom's popular third person shooter game, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Lee joins a cast that includes Sienna Miller, Ray Park, and Rachel Nichols. Steven (The Mummy) Sommers is directing (see 'G.I. Joe Cast Growing').
