Variety is reporting that the talented and gorgeous Reiko Aylesworth (from TV's 24) and Steven Pasquale (Rescue Me) will star in Alien vs. Predator 2, which starts filming next month in Vancouver (see ''AvP 2 Gets Director''). Years before Hollywood put these two science fiction movie monsters together in 2004 Dark Horse Comics paired the two licensed menaces in a monster mash way back in 1989.

Greg and Colin Strause will direct the new AvP film from a screenplay by Armageddon scribe Shane Salerno.

Reiko Aylesworth has just wrapped up her work on The Killing Floor, the story of an ex-military policeman who discovers a culture of corruption in a small southern town. Avi Arad, formerly of Marvel Entertainment, is the executive producer of the The Killing Floor.
