Cryptozoic Entertainment has released details on the latest expansion for its DC Comics Deck-Building Game, Crisis Expansion Pack 2, which is planned for February release.
The Crisis expansions are intended for cooperative play (see "'DC Deck-Building' Expansion and New Game"), but Crisis Expansion Pack 2 also includes six new Super Heroes and main deck cards that can be used for competitive play. There are “Impossible Mode” Super-villains, and the eight Super Heroes and 12 Super-Villains from Heroes United have been revamped for cooperative play. As an expansion, it requires the DC Comics Deck-Building Game, Heroes Unite, or Forever Evil base games to play.
The release includes 61 game cards, 14 oversized Super Hero Cards, and rules. MRP is $20.00.
Cryptozoic introduced organized play league kits with the first Crisis expansion (see "DC Deck Building Game' Organized Play"), and told ICv2 it does intend to have organized play for this release as well, but details are still in the works.
