Marvel announced Rachael Taylor has joined the cast for Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones Netflix series in the role of Patricia "Trish" Walker, better known to Marvel comic fans as the alter ego of Hellcat.

Taylor will play Jessica Jones’ best friend Trish, who is a syndicated radio talk show host, former model and child star.  The comic book version of Patricia Walker dates back to 1944, first appearing in Miss America Magazine #2, and eventually donning the identity of Hellcat in 1976.

The main cast is shaping up, with David Tennant recently announced in the role of Kilgrave (see "The Tenth Doctor Will Play The Purple Man").  The 13-episode series will premiere on Netflix later in 2015, following Marvel’s Daredevil (see "'Daredevil' Motion Poster Reveals Release Date").
