Bushiroad will release the English language version of its Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol. II expansion set for its long-running Weiss Schwarz trading card game on April 22.

This expansion includes cards from the first two seasons of the anime series, based on the visual novels of the same name.  It follows the adventures of Shiro Emiya, a high school student drawn into a secret magical tournament between reincarnated legendary heroes of history.  The first Weiss Schwarz set released last August (see "'Weiss Schwarz: Fate / Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works]'").

There will be 100 cards in this set, including 18 parallel cards.  Cards are packed eight to a booster pack.  Random packs will also include one of four different Gold Foil/Hot Stamped SP cards signed by Japanese voice actors Kana Ueda (Rin Tohsaka), Ayako Kawasumi (Saber), Junichi Suwabe (Archer), and Mai Kadowaki (Illyasviel von Einzbern).  Packs are packaged 20 per display, and each display box will include one of five random PR cards.

A collector’s Meister Set will also be offered for this expansion, with an exclusive rubber playmat, 700-card storage box, and PR card.  Each Meister Set also includes 10
Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol. II booster packs.  The Meister Set will be a limited print run.

The English language version of the new expansion does not include the gold or silver campaign coupons from the Japanese Edition.  They may only be used in tournaments held outside of Japan.

Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Vol. II will release a month after the iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls expansion, (see "'IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls' Joins 'Weiss Schwarz'"), and falls in the middle of Bushiroad’s 'Spring Fest' OP promotion (see "Bushiroad 'Spring Fest' Tournaments Return").
