The cruise will sail from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas on December 2 -5 aboard the Norwegian Sky. The guest list that includes Norman Reedus (Walking Dead), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City), and Sara Underwood (Attack of the Show) among celebrity cosplayers and a host of artist alley guests. There will be events held Friday – Sunday night, and passengers will receive an opportunity for a professional photo op with Reedus and other celebrity guests. Prices start at $749 / person.
Rose Tours is no stranger to specialty cruises and events, but the Wizard World cruise is definitely geekier than their usual fare. The company will host a Rick Springfield Getaway in the Bahamas this year, and holds yearly sold-out Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block Cruises.
Wizard World has been trying to find new locations for profitable events (see “New Shows Drag on Profits”); the high seas are a new frontier in that effort.
