The trailer reveals more of the story and showcases additional characters like Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) and Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). The last trailer focused more on events surrounding Jason Blossom’s murder (see “'Riverdale' Trailer Reveals Murder”).

Riverdale premieres Thursday, January 26 at 9 p.m. on The CW network.

The premiere will be followed by the debut of a Riverdale one-shot comic on February 1, which offers backstory from the summer before the show begins (see “'Riverdale' Comic Series in the Works”). An ongoing Riverdale series will launch in March.
