Z-Man Games has unveiled a new edition of its popular deduction game Love Letter, which features new art and new characters expanding gameplay for up to 6 players. Release is planned for summer.

Originally released in the U.S. by Alderac Entertainment Group, Z-Man Games acquired Seiji Kanai’s popular card game last May (see “'Love Letter' Passed to Z-Man Games”). The new edition will feature new illustrations by Andrew Bosley (Citadels) as well as adding two new characters. The new package will also feature a gold screenprint of the balance scale from the original Love Letter, depicted on both the bag and tokens.

The game includes 21 character cards, 6 reference cards, 13 favor tokens, and a rulebook. The game is for 2 – 6 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $11.99.
