Kenny Jacobs of Nuclear Comics & Skate in Laguna Niguel, California saw the comment by a retailer on the cancellation of DC's The Boys (see 'Matthew Dykes of KAPOW! Comics on 'The Boys''), and is upset that DC cancelled a book that sold well for him:

The fact that DC has not commented or released a statement regarding the cancellation of The Boys lets me know that they just don't have a good reason for it -- I know that it wasn't cancelled due to sales.  I have very little respect for this and it really makes me mad because, as a retailer, they just took profits out of my pocket.

We need books that sell, and this book sold great for me and that's all that matters.  I didn't realize that we needed the publisher to censor our books for us.
