Dave Brzeski of the House on the Borderland in Peterborough, United Kingdom saw the comments on DC's cancellation of The Boys (most recently from Kenny Jacobs of Nuclear Comics & Skate, see ('Kenny Jacobs of Nuclear Comics & Skate on 'The Boys''), and says it was his store's bestselling DC.

OK, it may not be true elsewhere, but for us The Boys is the best selling title DC had.  Post-Crisis, they've flooded the market with new superhero titles, which we can't give away.  The new versions of The Atom, Flash, Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis, Hawkgirl and assorted Green Lantern-related titles combined don't equal the sales we had for The Boys.

Hopefully, Ennis will move it to another company, and the fans will move with it.  DC can comfort themselves with all those titles they proudly boast are going into extra printings, while the people who bought box loads of the first printings flood eBay with them as usual.
