Broccoli Books has announced a boys' love imprint, Boysenberry Books, and will launch the line with three titles, Delivery Cupid, Pet on Duty and Sex Friend, all of which are due out later this year.  Boys' love manga (shonen ai or yaoi) is one of the fastest growing manga genres in the U.S. today and several other publishers including CPM (Be Beautiful), Digital Manga (Junemanga), and Tokyopop (Blu) have already fielded dedicated yaoi imprints.  Judging from the first three Boysenberry titles, it appears that Broccoli's new imprint is tending more in the direction of yaoi (hardcore) rather than shonen ai (gauzy).

Delivery Cupid, which is coming out in July and will be the first Boysenberry release, is a collection of six stories by C.J. Michalski, who is responsible for at least 17 volumes of manga and has a reputation for creating very sexy yaoi titles.

Pet on Duty by Nase Yamato, which is due out in the fall, is a romantic comedy about a guy who loses his job and has to stay with his brother in a company dorm where he soon falls for his brother's roommate.

Also due out in the fall is Sex Friend by Koreaki Kamuro, a collection of four stories.  Like Delivery Cupid and Pet on Duty, Sex Friend is a one-volume manga with no sequels or subsequent releases.
