Viz Media announced several important anime release dates at New York Comic Con.  The first DVD volume of MAR, which began airing on Cartoon Network's Toonami block in December (see 'MAR and Prince of Tennis Debuting on Toonami'), will street June 12th. 

The DVD of a 40-minute Naruto special, Naruto -- The Lost Story 'Mission:  Protect the Waterfall Village,' will street May 22nd.  The package will include an exclusive Bandai Naruto CCG trading card.  DVD extras will include a never-before-seen, extended trailer for the upcoming Naruto movie, which will debut theatrically this summer.

And at least an indication was given of the potential release date for the first Death Note DVD, which has been anxiously awaited since Viz announced it had the rights (see 'Death Note DVDs Later').  It is scheduled for Fall 2007, and will include special packaging and collectible premiums.
