According to Anime News Service an anime series based on Koge Donbo's magical girl manga Kamichama Karin is set to debut on Japanese TV on April 6.  Tokyopop has released the first six volumes of the 7-volume Kamichama Karin manga (Volume 7 is due out on May 11th) created by female manga-ka Koge Donbo, who is best known for her creation of the Di Gi Charat property.

Kamichama Karin is the story of a 12-year-old orphan who is a terrible student and a poor athlete, but discovers that she can channel the goddess Athena thanks to a mysterious pink ring.
