The North American street date for the Pokemon Trading Figure Game, originally announced for a spring release (see 'Pokemon Trading Figure Game') will be August 15th, according to Pokemon USA representatives we spoke to at the GAMA Trade  Show (see 'GAMA Trade Show Ends on Up Note').

The figures will spin on their bases, allowing the use of the 'Gotta Spin 'Em All' slogan that unites the new TFG game play with the historic slogan of the property.  The game was released in Europe last fall, which allowed the refinement of the spinning feature.

Booster (2-figure)
The booster pack configuration has changed somewhat since the original announcement of the Next Quest release.  There will be three booster packs:  a 1-Figure Booster at $3.49 (with six different figures); a 2-Figure Booster at $6.99, which will have one visible and one blind figure (six different visible figures); and a 3-Figure Booster at Diamond & Pearl promo figures (six different visible figures, and three different Diamond & Pearl figures).

Six crystal chase figures (with the same game play as the corresponding standard figure) will be inserted according to a to-be-determined rarity scheme.

Organized play support is planned, with details to be announced at a later date.
